Description

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Anti-Shine Mist SPF 50 is a fine face mist that gives broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection with a hydrating, mattifying finish. It suits all skin types, especially oily or shiny skin.

The Mexoplex filter system (including Mexoryl SX and XL) is combined with La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water and antioxidants. The mist absorbs quickly, needs no rubbing in and is very water-resistant, which makes it easy to top up during the day, even over make-up.

Key benefits

  • High SPF 50 UVA and UVB protection
  • Mattifying finish that helps control shine
  • No rubbing in; easy to use over make-up
  • Very water-resistant

How to use

  • Hold about 20cm from the face and spray in a circular motion, with eyes and mouth closed.
  • Apply before sun exposure, using enough to cover the face evenly.
  • Reapply every 2 hours, and straight after swimming, sweating or towel drying. Using less product lowers the level of protection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use Anthelios Anti-Shine Mist over make-up?

Yes. That is one of its main uses. Hold it about 20cm from your face, close your eyes and mouth, and mist in a circular motion. Let it dry without rubbing. Make sure you apply enough to cover the face evenly, as a light spritz gives less protection than stated. Reapply every 2 hours outdoors. Shake the can before use.

Should I use the mist as my only sunscreen?

You can, if you apply enough to cover the face evenly. Many people prefer to apply a cream or fluid sunscreen in the morning and use the mist for top-ups during the day, especially over make-up. Do not inhale the spray, and for very sunny days pair it with shade, a hat and sunglasses. Spray in a well-ventilated area.

What pairs well with La Roche-Posay Anthelios Anti-Shine Mist SPF 50?

Apply Anthelios UVMune 400 Oil Control Fluid SPF 50+ or Anthelios UVMune 400 Oil Control Gel-Cream SPF 50+ in the morning over Effaclar MAT, then use the mist for quick, mattifying top-ups during the day.
